Welcome to Star Rug Company. Here you will find for sale primitive hooked rugs, antique reproduction hooked rugs, and patterns. All patterns are hand drawn straight on the grain upon high quality linen. Each Pattern comes with a colored photo of the finished rug. Maria has been recognized as one of the top artisans in the country by Early American Life in 2005 and 2006. She also writes articles for the Wool Street Journal, a magazine devoted to primitive style rugs and the Rug Hooking Magazine. Her finished work can be seen at Yellow Creek Antiques in Penisula, Ohio. CHECK out the September/October 2007 issue of Rug Hooking Magazine.
